petermannySweet Home Chicago ventured to Bairnsdale on debut and delivered a great result for the stable in winning on debut for our good friends and new client Hillside Thoroughbreds . The filly settled off the pace early during the run and then was pulled out wide by Kane Bradley to gun down the leaders to win softly on the line and there appears better things installed for this very nice 3yo Flying Spur filly who was a Magic Millions graduate.

" It was a thrill to win a race for a new client of the stable that came about through a family connection and we look forward to a long relationship with Hillside Thoroughbreds and to help them with their brand in the breeding and racing of horses throughout Australia and believe there vision fits our business model so it was great to get out of the blocks in a positive way" said Peter Gelagotis

It was a positive way to start the weekend however things went the other way with Stable stars Hvasstan & Mourinho being disappointing in their respective races in Sydney and Melbourne so having this winner created a good feel for the stable and hopefully there are more wins in store for Sweet Home Chicago and Hillside Thoroughbreds in the future.
