Leading Gippsland Trainer Peter Gelagotis completed another rare feat in winning his 8th Trainers Premiership and capped it off with current stable star Mourinho easily taking out the coveted Gippsland Horse of the Year again for the second time running.

Gelagotis thanked the Sale Turf Club for conducting the Awards to continue the tradition to support and acknowledge local participants and also thanked his owners and key members in the background including staff , vets , farriers and all involved in the team success over such a long period of time.

It is well documented that Peter Gelagotis has entered the elite level of trainers in Australia by wining his first Group 1 race recently with Mourinho which is a great endorsement for the team structure he has around him.
