Lightly raced NZ bred Moss N Dale produced a stunning performance in Adelaide to win his his first city race for some great connections after some promising performances in his brief career . The lightly raced Castledale gelding certainly turned some heads when Anthony Darmanin rode hime with plenty of confidence from the wide gate to basically sit outside the leader and power away late to win stylishly by a length and giving his trainer Peter Gelagotis an instant thought that the Silver Bowl 3yo series could be an option for the progressive young horse bred by his owners.

" This horse from the very first day he came to me just wants to be a racehorse and to see him progress to city grade so quickly is a credit to his attitude and application and its hard to put a handle on him at this stage because he just keeps finding which is a very good trait - he loves to win " said Gelagotis

Moss N Dale will now be tested in the Silver Bowl Series with the Final being at Flemington on the 9th July 2016 over 1600m after winning 2 of his 4 starts including a very unlucky 2nd at the Warrnambool carnival against the older horses.
